ProPetén accepts donations through the TIDES Foundation, based in the United States. As a TIDES Foundation Global Support Fund, ProPetén has shown TIDES that it meets IRS equivalency criteria for 501.3(c) non-profit status. This allows US taxpayers to make tax-deductible donations to The TIDES Foundation which are then regranted to ProPetén in the form of strictly monitored "expenditure responsibility grants."
To donate, please write a check or money order made out to "TIDES Foundation/ProPetén Fund," and send it along with a small note indicating your donation amount to:
